Its natural blue reflections from the hardened steel are enhanced by a protective blue varnish—which fades after the first use, revealing the raw steel in all its splendor.

For better grip on the ground, we recommend adding a striation.

Maintenance tips

From the first game, the blue protective varnish disappears—this is normal and expected.

Carbon steel is an alloy that oxidizes. Store your triplette in a dry place, preferably at home, and avoid damp areas. Do not leave your boules in the car trunk—temperature variations promote the appearance of surface rust.

• After each game, carefully wipe the boules with a cloth
• If not playing for several weeks, apply a greasy product like WD-40 to protect the steel
• Regular maintenance preserves the long life of your boules
