🏆 Herblay Nationals: Our participation report!

On the weekend of June 5th and 6th, our team proudly wore the colors of Pétanque Sportif at the highly anticipated Herblay National tournament. Faced with a high-level field and technical terrains, our players defended every end with the demands of top-level competition.

Here's a recap of this great sporting adventure.

🎯 The Team's Journey

The competition kicked off intensely on Saturday morning with the group stages:

Group Stages: After a difficult first game that resulted in a loss, the team reacted perfectly and showed character by winning the next two games consecutively. A great mental strength that opened the doors to the final stages for us.

After the Group Stages: As soon as we left the group stages, the intensity stepped up a notch. Against a strong team, the game was hard-fought and full of suspense. Unfortunately, after a great battle end after end, our journey narrowly ended with a cruel score of 11 to 13.

🤝 The Outcome of the National

The level of this edition was particularly high until the end of the weekend. Congratulations to the team composed of Romain Cuzin, Sébastien Ciavatta (Levallois Sporting Club), and Toufic Belkhelfa (ACB de Nogent) who magnificently won this Herblay National against the triplette from Jouy le Moutier / Poissy (Mathieu Granturco, Christophe Fouquet, and Manuel Monteiro).
